Lisa Singer has worked as a consultant with Auto Advisory Services for more than eight years. Lisa answers the AAS dealership compliance Hotline. She has also developed and implemented Auto Advisory Services’ Customized Compliance Program (CCP), a loss prevention program designed to promote legal compliance among dealership employees. While heading the CCP, Lisa creates custom codes of ethics forms for salespeople, sales managers, finance managers, and employees of the business office and service department. Lisa also conducts compliance seminars and numerous legal workshops for dealership employees. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
In addition to working at AAS, Lisa is a consulting attorney in the Automotive Practice Group at Arent Fox, a national law firm. She reviews dealership advertisements and drafts commission pay plans, employee handbooks, job descriptions, warranty documents, and various custom forms relating to vehicle sales or service. Lisa reviews and negotiates dealership agreements with vendors and lenders. Her background also includes assessing and providing guidance regarding lawsuit exposure as well as negotiating settlements of customer complaints and accusations by the DMV and the California Air Resources Board.
As an attorney and member of the California bar since 1990, Lisa previously served as general counsel of the Cush Automotive Group for nearly five years. In that capacity, Lisa handled all legal matters relating to the group.
